On air, for an audience of one

A wood-paneled booth. The on-air lamp is the brightest thing in the room. City static leaks through headphones on the desk. Coffee has gone cold in a paper cup, and the request line is open.

You type. They answer on camera. Your camera stays off.
A new line interrupts the one they are still answering.
The clock starts short and extends itself, up to about five minutes. Hang up to stop it.
