The shop after the sign flips

A letterpress shop at dusk. Metal type is sorted into drawers. The florist downstairs has closed, and the smell of stems still climbs the stairs. A single sheet hangs from a line, still damp.

A new line interrupts the one they are still answering.
The clock starts short and extends itself, up to about five minutes. Hang up to stop it.
