Black box, one work light

An empty black-box theater. Tape marks the floor. One work light throws a hard circle. The seats are a dark suggestion, and a script with a broken spine lies open on a stool.

You type. They answer on camera. Your camera stays off.
A new line interrupts the one they are still answering.
The clock starts short and extends itself, up to about five minutes. Hang up to stop it.
